Harriet Dodson
University of Lincoln
CDCT Grant Recipient 2022/23
Harriet was nominated due to epitomising the Cam-do attitude – through her enthusiastic approach to her studies, collegiate working with her peers and her willingness to put herself forward as a course ambassador and group rep. She was awarded £500 from The CDCT in January 2023.
At the time of receiving The CDCT Grant, Harriet was a second year Graphic Design student studying at the University of Lincoln.
‘Harriet has impressed with her positive attitude to every brief and her mature, intelligent and considered approach to study. She strives to produce work of the highest quality and responds positively to feedback from her tutors. Within her peers Harriet has a positive influence on others and has developed a positive studio culture: leading by example and inspiring others to join her in the studio outside of taught sessions.’
Brian Voce, Senior Lecturer
Harriet plans to use the Grant to explore a wider range of materials in her work, purchasing different inks and papers to further explore her interest in printing and 3D materials to allow her to continue her love of making physical outcomes to student projects.
