Jordan was nominated due to his commitment to his studies, excellent Cam-do attitude and positive influence on others. He was awarded £500 from The CDCT in January 2023.

At the time of receiving The CDCT Grant, Jordan was a second year Graphic Design student studying at the University of Northampton.

‘From day one, Jordan has been unwaveringly committed to the course and gets as much as possible out of the lectures, workshops and design work opportunities. Jordan has a small Freelance practice outside of the university, and is involved in our current extra-curricula Northampton Market Square public facing project. Jordan never misses a session, or a deadline and is vocal in group discussions. He has a wonderfully calm demeanour and is helpful to others, he is a delight to teach and has proven in many group projects to be a capable leader.’

Jordan hopes to use the Grant to purchase a camera and develop his photography and video skills. ‘The Grant means more than just what’s on offer financially, It would be real tangible proof that hard work can make everything become a reality. I was so close to being that person who never ventured out from their home town and never fulfilled their own potential, and to think I started during the end of Covid, in foundation studies, to the present day: the journey has been nothing short of incredible.’
