Lucy McKenna-Patel
University of Lincoln
CDCT Grant Recipient 2024/25
Lucy was nominated for a CDCT Grant by her tutors due to her growth as a creative thinker and designer and commitment to her studies, and for optimising the Cam-do spirit in all she does. She was deservedly awarded £500 from The CDCT.
At the time of receiving The CDCT Grant in January 2025, Lucy was a third year Graphic Design student studying at the University of Lincoln.
‘Lucy has been an exceptional student on the Graphic Design Course here at the University of Lincoln and we are delighted to nominate her for the CDCT grant in recognition of her achievements. Her commitment to honing her skills is evident in the time she dedicates to refining her work and her eagerness to incorporate feedback into her creative process pays dividends, as can be seen in the way her design work has progressed over the three years of the course. Her professionalism and collaborative spirit make her an invaluable member of the studio and of group projects, and Lucy regularly exceeds expectations in her contributions.’
Barrie Tullett, Senior Lecturer
Lucy is delighted to have been recognised by her tutors and The CDCT, and plans to use the Grant to put towards helping her undertake internship opportunities in London.
