Starting with the statement Stick to Your Guns, Hesk created a project documenting stories of determination and fortitude of the Lincoln Mountaineering Club, of which she was a member.

Her book was beautifully made, using different papers to symbolise layers of rock, but it was her presentation to SODA which helped her win Roulette 2022, which was delivered like a TED talk – the judges were amazed. Hesk completed a two-week internship at SODA in November 2022, and has since gone on to secure a permanent role as a designer in London.
