Libby looked at the idea of social connections – they are constantly shaping who we are and what we do. Libby explained: ‘We have so many connections online but lack the immediate connections around, making us more separated from society. This has led to an increase in ageism due to a disconnected society. Libby focused specifically on gendered ageism, with the solution being centred around intergenerational conversations, which are one solution to support women as they age and re frame how our culture thinks about getting older. More Than offer creative workshops provide a welcoming space where participants can learn new skills, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships across generations.’
